In addition to the performance at Strelka, Magne, Jonas and Martin participated in a workshop. According to the Strelka web site:

After the performance at Strelka, Apparatjik will lead a closed workshop with Russian artists and musicians. Together they will work on a new interactive installation, which will connect Apparatjik’s creative work with local Russian context. The results of this collaboration will be shown at the Yota Space Festival in St. Petersburg this fall.

Martin talked about the workshop in an interview as well, ‘In the hot seat with Larry LeBlanc – Martin Terefe’:

Earlier this month (May), we did a performance in Moscow that is leading up to an installation in St. Petersburg in October. Right now, we are trying to get Russian mathematicians and players to compose music by playing chess. That’s what we are working on now.
