Choreography of Sound
Magne gave two presentations during the international symposium called “Choreography Of Sound – Between Abstraction and Narration” in Karlsruhe, Germany.

During the week of July 1, Lowell is holding a workshop at Stolper + Friends gallery in Oslo. The week’s event started off on July 1 with collaborative performances by Lowell, Robyn Hitchcock and Norwegian indie rock band I Was A King.
Eucalyptus tree steel sculpture
Magne has created a massive sculpture out of a steel H-beam for Kjell Inge Røkke, which will be installed outside Røkke’s cabin in Oppdal. This type of work has never been attempted before.

The May issue of “N”, the in-flight magazine for Norwegian Airlines, included an interview with Magne which explored his many recent projects.
‘Beatles’ Movie
Magne has agreed to compose the original score as well as supervise the recordings of other music for the upcoming film “Beatles” produced by Norwegian production company Storm Rosenberg. The news that the film is allowed to use original recordings by the Beatles has already given it international attention.
Norwegian Wood
‘Norwegian Wood’ is an exhibition of ten new woodcut prints in large format, which will be presented by Paul Stolper in London from May 3 – June 1, 2013.
In Transit
This new book is the first extensive publication to survey Magne’s career and works, and provide insight into the artist’s practice.
Desembertoner
Magne participated in the third annual ‘Desembertoner’ Christmas Concert, sponsored by Nordea on December 21, 2012.
Til Ungdommen Sculpture
Together with students from across the country, Magne created a time capsule sculpture, which has been placed in the lobby of the Norwegian National Archives (Riksarkivet) and will remain sealed until 2031.

In December, Magasinet KUNST published a long interview with Magne in connection with ‘Bouquet’ and his 50th birthday.
