THE THIEF hotel in Oslo invited people to submit videos of themselves ‘dancing like an Apparatjik’ for a chance to win one or two nights in their Apparatjik Suite.

Apparatjik and Audiokolor have collaborated on an installation at the exhibition ‘I wish this was a song’ at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Oslo.

Apparatjik has released a magazine for the iPad, which contains performance videos, photos, fan art, interview clips, links to external press, interactive games – and a brand new full-length Apparatjik album!

Apparatjik invited the public to contribute visuals for the ‘Apparatjik Light Space Modulator’ during the installation from March 13 – 26, 2011.

Apparatjik asked the public to plant trees and submit photos to their site, and promised that when 1000 trees are planted, new music will be released.

The first single from Apparatjik’s debut album was released as a free download in November 2009.

Magne is one of thirteen international artists who were commissioned to create sound sculptures inspired and in direct collaboration with a series of visual works at the museum.
