Apparatjik and interior designer Karina Holmen have furnished and decorated a guest suite at THE THIEF hotel based in the Apparatjik World. Read a press release about the suite here.

This new book is the first extensive publication to survey Magne’s career and works, and provide insight into the artist’s practice.

THE THIEF hotel in Oslo invited people to submit videos of themselves ‘dancing like an Apparatjik’ for a chance to win one or two nights in their Apparatjik Suite.

Magne participated in the third annual ‘Desembertoner’ Christmas Concert, sponsored by Nordea on December 21, 2012.

Together with students from across the country, Magne created a time capsule sculpture, which has been placed in the lobby of the Norwegian National Archives (Riksarkivet) and will remain sealed until 2031.

The Oslo Boys’ Choir Sølvguttene performed a musical work composed as a result of the recorded movement in the gallery during the ‘Everybody is a composer’ installation.

In December, Magasinet KUNST published a long interview with Magne in connection with ‘Bouquet’ and his 50th birthday.

Markus Lange and Falko Walter have produced a RISO printed magazine for Apparatjik, which is the focus of this exhibition.

Apparatjik and Canadian singer Lowell have released a mini-album on iTunes called “If You Can, Solve This Jumble”.

A retrospective exhibition at Galleri Trafo encompassing 25 years of Magne’s works, to coincide with his 50th birthday on November 1.
