Magne participated in the third annual ‘Desembertoner’ Christmas Concert, sponsored by Nordea on December 21, 2012.

Til Ungdommen Sculpture

Together with students from across the country, Magne created a time capsule sculpture, which has been placed in the lobby of the Norwegian National Archives (Riksarkivet) and will remain sealed until 2031.

The Oslo Suite at Stolper + Friends

Sir Peter Blake, known to many as the father of British Pop Art, created a new series of prints, entitled ‘The Oslo Suite’, inspired by his experience of the Norwegian City.

Underhojar

Rudolph the Chrome Nosed Reindeer

In connection with the ‘Under Stor Press’ print exhibition in Sweden, Yamaparts displayed motorcycles transformed into art by several artists at an exhibition called ‘Underhojar’. One of the motorcycles was done by Apparatjik.

Echo

The works consist of four large monotypes on hospital sheets, originally intended for Futura Plus, and a selection of twelve smaller monotypes on sheets and paper.

Shed 13

A large warehouse in Tjuvholmen was covered on two sides by six huge butterflies made by Damien Hirst.

Confusion

Magne designed several of the permanent decorative elements in the BØLGEN & MOI restaurant in Tjuvholmen, including a white tile wall covered with black painted letters from the word ‘confusion’ in various configurations. He also created the designs on the glass windows of the restaurant.

Magne performed ‘A Beautiful Mess’ and ‘I’m Yours’ with singer Jason Mraz at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert at Oslo’s Spektrum Arena.

As a special guest at a Coldplay concert at the Spektrum in Oslo, Magne performed ‘Hunting High and Low’ with Chris Martin.

Rockefeller Music Hall

After the triple solo concert at Royal Albert Hall in London was announced, a series of ‘warm up’ concerts were announced for the preceding days in Oslo.

Palace Grill

Palace Grill

Prior to the triple solo concerts in Oslo and London in May 2008, Magne had three quietly announced ‘warm up’ concerts at the tiny but cozy Palace Grill in Oslo. He also did a warm up concert for Hove Festival here in June.

Solo album painting performance

Magne’s second solo album was first offered as a limited edition of 300, the covers hand painted as part of a large canvas and dismantled into its parts – all of which was streamed on the web.

Climax

Magne was commissioned by Hydro to create a sculpture for the Nobel Peace Center, and the result was a reclaimed aluminum work, ‘Climax’. The sculpture was unveiled by Nobel Prize Award winners Al Gore and Rajendra Kumar Pachauri on December 11, 2007.

Cafe Mono

Magne performed at Café Mono in Oslo. Very few details are available about this concert.
