On July 24, Billboard.com premiered a new song from Backstreet Boys called ‘Breathe’ from their upcoming album ‘In a world like this’. Magne is a co-writer on the song, along with Martin Terefe, Andreas Olsson, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough and Nick Whitecross.

During the week of July 1, Lowell is holding a workshop at Stolper + Friends gallery in Oslo. The week’s event started off on July 1 with collaborative performances by Lowell, Robyn Hitchcock and Norwegian indie rock band I Was A King.

Magne has created a massive sculpture out of a steel H-beam for Kjell Inge Røkke, which will be installed outside Røkke’s cabin in Oppdal. This type of work has never been attempted before.

On Sunday, June 2, THE THIEF hotel held a special party and music showcase event to launch their rooftop bar. Marius Beck and Tini – two of Magne’s talents from The Voice – and Canadian singer Lowell performed at the event, and Magne attended as well.

Magne and his driving partner Einar Skjerven – together known as Skjerven Racing // Team 43 – participated in the Gumball 3000 road rally, and won the ‘Gumball Ambassadors’ prize at the conclusion of the race.
